The Best Life Club is a community of lifelong learners who want to improve and optimize every area of their lives — their health, career, finances, marriage, parenting, leadership, and spirituality. If you love wisdom and personal growth, you've come to the right place!
This website is the culmination of my 25-year research on two vital questions:
- What is the purpose and meaning of life?
- How can we live the best life possible?
The answers are worth more than all the gold, silver, and precious stones you could mine from the earth. The wisdom you will gain here is equivalent to a Ph.D. in the Art of Living.
In the Best Life Club, we teach you the real definition of success. We reveal to you the purpose and meaning of life and how to live it to the fullest. We believe it's only when we're solidly founded on unchanging principles that we find the answers to life’s deepest questions.
We believe that God (YHWH) is the source of all correct principles. It's only when we align ourselves with these natural laws (both physical and spiritual) that we find the way to the best life possible—both now and forever.
The books and resources cited here will help you live the life of your dreams. I'm constantly updating and improving the list. My name is Daniel Macaraeg. My family and friends call me "Dan" or "Danny." I've always been passionate about wisdom and personal growth. I work online as a freelance content strategist, having served clients in the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
I've come from a fairly large but happy and close-knit family. I have six siblings — three brothers and three sisters. I'm the second son of Edmond and Lorna Macaraeg, who have been in full-time ministry for over 40 years now. I'm happily married to my loving wife, Ainee, and we live in Davao City, Philippines with our dog, Toffee.
When I was 20, two questions burned in my mind: "What's the purpose and meaning of life?" and "How can I live the best life possible?"
One night, I read a statement I shall never forget: "Your life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you choose, but you can only spend it once."
The realization was most powerful—I only had one life to live. There were many roads I could travel, but I didn't want to take just any road. I wanted to find the way—the way to the best life possible. What was that way?
I realized that one of the wisest things I could do was to invest time finding out what life was for in the first place! It only seemed reasonable and logical to me. What is the point of living if you don't know what life is for?
I realized that many people were like me—utterly clueless. Why do they do the things they do—is it right? Why do they believe the things they believe—is it true and correct? Many, it seems, don't even care to ask these kinds of questions. What a waste of that one precious life!
I was determined to find the answers, even if it took me the rest of my life. I was not interested in simply finding a purpose for living, but the purpose for human life on this earth. What's the whole point? Why are we here?
I dedicated my life to seeking the answers to those two questions.
I spent many days and nights in careful study and research. I read books, articles and other resources that would shed light on my questions. I was literally consumed with this topic.
I spent more hours than I care to remember in libraries and bookstores. In all this time, I also diligently studied the Bible and compared it with everything I knew and everything I'd been reading. I also listened, observed, prayed and reflected. When a flash of insight would come, I would write it down on my journal. Slowly, a rock-solid foundation emerged.
What did I find? Well, that's the reason for this website. I'm excited to share with you the precious insights I have learned — insights that I hope will inspire and encourage you, as it has inspired and encouraged me.
